Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026Who we are
Jaytravs, is the controller responsible for the personal information described here. We are based in London, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected].
This policy covers our web design page at www.website.jaytravs.com and enquiries about our design and management services. It does not describe the separate handling of travel bookings.Information we use
If you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message and any attachments. For projects, we also use relevant contact, contract, billing and project information. Please do not email passwords, card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and logs to deliver and protect the website. If you accept Analytics, Google Analytics processes usage information such as pages viewed, interactions, device and browser information, approximate location and online identifiers. We do not currently provide a contact form or take online payments on this web design page. Why we use it
We process information to discuss and provide services under a contract with you or take steps you request before entering one. For general enquiries, communications with business representatives and website security, we rely on legitimate interests in answering enquiries, managing the business and protecting the site, balanced against your rights. We rely on legal obligations for required tax records and consent for optional Analytics.
You do not have to enquire, but we need enough contact and project information to respond or provide services. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.Retention
We normally delete enquiries that do not become projects 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We retain essential contract, approval and dispute records for up to six years after the project or ongoing service ends, reviewing them and removing unnecessary information. Records relevant to an active dispute may be kept longer until it is resolved and any necessary follow-up is complete.
We retain required tax records for at least five years after the 31 January submission deadline for the relevant tax year, or longer where an applicable tax requirement or ongoing enquiry requires it.Our chosen Google Analytics event and user data retention period is two months, with retention reset on new activity disabled where available. Standard aggregated reports may be retained separately from that setting. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.Cookies and your choice
We use Google Analytics to understand website use and improve the site. Under our chosen setup, Analytics stays off until you accept. Rejecting it does not prevent you from using the website. You can change or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Storage strictly needed to remember your choice or deliver a requested function may still be used.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Your right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your circumstances. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.Changes
If we add a contact form, online payments or other processing, we will update this policy and provide any necessary information and choices before the new processing starts.
